David Briley Releases First TV Commercial for Vice Mayor
The 30-second spot, "Son of Dave," focuses on Briley's promise to listen and create more community consensus as Nashville's next Vice Mayor. The ad reinforces Briley's campaign theme - that he will work to make the Council more inclusive, transparent, and accountable.
The commercial will air on broadcast and cable through Election Day.
Briley is a native Nashvillian and is currently a practicing attorney at Bone McAllester Norton PLLC, where he represents individuals and companies in civil disputes. From 1999 to 2007, he served as an At-Large Member of the Metropolitan Council of Nashville and Davidson County. During that time, he focused on ethics, budget, solid waste, and government efficiency issues. He served on the Council’s Budget and Finance Committee, the Charter Revision Committee, the Greenways Commission, the Personnel Committee, the Ad Hoc Committee on Solid Waste, and the Water Rate Oversight Committee.
David is married to Jodie Bell, who is also a member of the Bar, practicing criminal defense law. They have a son, Sam, who is 12.
